Dogwood
I laze upon your spadiceous limbs,
dreamt of ships and fairytales,
pressed your virid leaves in bibles,
and kissed your angels sleeve
Linen white petals
adorning sorrel centers,
dance to winds embrace,
whilst heavy dew
seep upon her moss feet
Cradled in Angel's hand,
West Canada Dogwood Tree
British Columbia's Emblem.
